PiCA Thesis Forum is a webinar series where X-PiCAns present the process and outcome of their final year Design Dissertations. It offers a platform for Design Dissertation discussions and exchange of ideas between our students, faculty and the alumni. It provides exposure to current students to the research processes of their seniors’ theses and reveals how those culminated into design intents. It aims to unfold the evolution of concepts, how the designs responded to context, research explorations, user needs, materiality and also the resolution of challenges of building structures.
Thus, PiCA Thesis Forum hopes to kindle the quest of posing interesting architecture research questions among the current 4th and 5th year students and challenges them to handle the Design Dissertation in an innovative, mature and holistic manner.
