Placement Cell
Pillai College of Architecture organizes placement seminars. These have fostered a unique bond with the architectural fraternity, the Indian Institute of Architects and the industry at large.
PiCA Annual Placements have seen the participation of many prestigious architectural firms in Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Thane and Kalyan. PiCA Placements are supported by X-PiCAns, the Alumni organization of the Pillai College of Architecture.
The Placements include an exhibition of Final Year Architectural Thesis (Design) Dissertation of the candidates. Architects their representatives and guest professionals go through the exhibition and express their views on the work done and offer encouragement to the prospective architects. Personal interviews are conducted and candidates are offered placements. Many are invited to various architectural firms for second interviews. Feedback received from the participating forms has been uniformly generous and appreciative. Several firms now part of PiCA’s Placement Network, place students in their firm by invitation. This kind of placement Programme is a first for any architecture college in Navi Mumbai. The planning of the programme and its eventual success are an ongoing part of achieving the objective of Pillai College of Architecture to impart quality architectural education, and also to guide its graduates into the profession.
