The Senate Student Council of the PICA organised an event titled “3 O’ Clock Studio” aimed at fostering interaction among students across various academic years. The initiative was designed to create a platform for senior students, particularly those in their third year, to showcase their previous semester architectural design projects. This event provided an invaluable opportunity for first and second-year students to engage with their senior peers, gaining insights into the design process, the techniques involved in concept generation, and the approach to compiling a professional design portfolio.

During the event, the works of four third-year students were presented and thoroughly discussed. These presentations offered a comprehensive view of the development of an architectural design from conceptualisation to final execution.

The session culminated in an interactive question-and-answer segment, where students actively participated by asking questions and seeking clarification on various aspects of design portfolios and concept generation. This segment proved to be an essential aspect of the event, as it allowed participants to address any doubts or uncertainties they had, gaining direct insights from their senior counterparts. The exchange of ideas and knowledge between the students was highly productive, helping to bridge the gap between different academic levels and fostering a collaborative learning environment.

Overall, the 3 O’ Clock Studio served as a highly beneficial platform for enhancing the academic experience of the PICA students, promoting the exchange of knowledge and encouraging cross-year interaction. The event was well-received by all participants, and it successfully achieved its objective of providing valuable learning opportunities in the fields of architectural design and portfolio creation.
