Creating Canvas to raise awareness on Environmental Concerns
The event was conducted on the 6th December 2024, Friday, in 2nd floor studio at 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. It was engaging session and students presented their contribution in group. Each group explained their canvas creation, about one of the environmental concerns and talks about the causes, impact and measures required to bring positive change.
Aim was to raise awareness about environmental concerns through canvas creation as a powerful visual tool to highlight the causes, impacts, and solutions for environmental degradation. The artwork should depict the harmful effects of human activities such as pollution, deforestation, and overconsumption of resources, which contribute to climate change, biodiversity loss, and health issues. Through bold visuals and symbols, the event aims to educate the students to inspire collective action, and foster a sense of responsibility toward protecting the environment. This visual representation not only makes the issues more tangible but also encourages individuals to adopt eco-friendly behaviours and advocate for environmental protection.
The event highlights the urgent need to address environmental issues like pollution, deforestation, and climate change. Through impactful visuals, it educates the students and generates discussions on the causes and consequences of these problems while promoting sustainable practices and conservation efforts as solutions. The key takeaway is to inspire individuals to take responsibility, adopt eco-friendly habits, and advocate for policies that protect the environment for future generations.
