The Education Fair organized by Pillai Group of Institutions was a resounding success, held on the 5th and 6th of December 2024. The event aimed to provide a comprehensive platform for school students, particularly those in Grades 9, 10 and 12, to explore various career paths and make informed decisions about their futures.
Event Overview
The fair showcased works from all branches of Pillai’s College, including Architecture, Engineering, Commerce, Media, and more. Each department presented its projects, achievements, and career opportunities, giving visiting students a detailed insight into the possibilities awaiting them after completing their schooling.
Highlights of the event included:

- Career Guidance Sessions: Experts from over 20 fields, such as aviation, AI/ML, luxury brand management, hospitality, and architecture, were available to guide students on career options.
- Interactive Activities: Educational games and engaging sessions were conducted to make the event more enriching for participants.
- Campus Tours: Visitors were given guided tours of the campus to familiarize them with the college’s facilities and infrastructure.
We led the planning, preparation, and execution of our department’s contributions to the event. Below is a detailed account of the meetings, preparations, and efforts undertaken by the architecture department:

The Education Fair was attended by hundreds of students and parents, who expressed their appreciation for the well-organized event and the invaluable guidance provided. The architecture department received glowing feedback for its innovative projects and interactive sessions, solidifying its reputation as a hub for creative and technical excellence.
