How was the day celebrated?
The program started with a welcome and introduction speech followed by two dance performances. Hruta Durgule along with the producer made a grand entrance in the auditorium which was filled by a big round of applause. She promoted the movie by showing everyone the teaser along with a brief synopsis of the role that she played. To express everyone’s fondness and respect for her, a dance group from Pillai, HOC danced on one of the movie songs. The producer and actress appreciated the student’s efforts and gave a few insights and milestones that they faced while making the film.
The programme ended with a photo of the actress with the students. It were the principals, faculty members and students who showed their support and made this event a successful one.
The movie – ANANYA is about a very bright student and athlete who has lots of dreams and aspirations. But unfortunately she loses both her arms in an accident. The story revolves around the life of a kind and sweet girl living with her family and suddenly her life turns topsy turvy after an incident, but she overcomes the odds and difficulties with her will and fate, leading to consequences.
The actress Hruta Durgule portrays Ananya in her first movie and her performance is admirable and her portrayal of Ananya’s silent frustration will grip you to your core.
