Pillai College of Architecture, New Panvel was a witness to the splendid sports event the volleyball tournament at Pillai College of Architecture took place on the 23rd August, 2024, at the college’s basketball court. The event was eagerly anticipated and saw participation from teams across different academic years, including the 2nd year, 3rd year, and 5th year students.
The matches were intense and competitive, with each team showcasing remarkable skill and sportsmanship. The tournament kicked off at 3:00 PM and continued throughout the evening, with students and faculty members cheering on their respective teams.
After a series of thrilling matches, the 3rd-year team emerged victorious, securing the 1st position. The 2nd-year team followed closely, claiming the 2nd position. Despite their efforts, the 5th-year team was unable to make it to the top two spots but displayed commendable performance throughout the tournament.
The event concluded with an award ceremony where the winning teams were congratulated and celebrated for their outstanding performances. The tournament not only provided a platform for students to demonstrate their athletic abilities but also fostered a sense of camaraderie and team spirit among the participants.
Overall, the volleyball tournament was a great success, adding another memorable chapter to the college’s sporting events.
