From Campus to Industry – Preparing for placements
As part of the ongoing Series, Pillai’s College of Architecture organized an interactive session on 8th September 2025 for the fourth-year students to guide them in preparing for their professional training. The session began with a welcome note and introduction of the guest speaker by Prof. Indu Sudheer.
The speaker of the day, Ar. Suyash Mankame, is an alumnus of PICA and holds a Master’s degree in Urban Design from CEPT University. His academic excellence was recognized with the prestigious NIASA Best Thesis Award. Currently, he heads the Suyash Mankame Design Studio, a practice known for its commitment to sustainability and innovation, including a patented locking assembly.
Ar. Mankame shared valuable insights with the students, focusing on practical strategies to secure internships in reputed firms. The key areas covered included:
