The Induction Day for the B.Sc. Interior Design students was conducted on 25th June 2025 at the Auditorium of Pillai College of Architecture. The event marked the beginning of a new academic journey for the students and provided an opportunity for both students and parents to get acquainted with the institution, its values, and its academic environment.

The program commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial diya, symbolizing the beginning of an enlightening academic phase. The event was gracefully hosted by Prof. Sayalee Kulkarni, Head of the Department, B.Sc. Interior Design.

The Principal, Dr. Sudnya Mahimkar, addressed the gathering and welcomed the students and parents, emphasizing the vision and ethos of the institution. Prof. Sasmit Acharekar, Head of the IQAC, Prof. Rupali Vaidya, Head of the Examination Department, and Prof. Ashwini Bhosale, Head of the Council, each provided insights into their respective departments and the functioning of the college, ensuring that the new students understood the academic and administrative framework of the institution.

A presentation about the institution was showcased, highlighting the various activities, achievements, and initiatives undertaken by the college across different domains, including academics, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities, research, and community outreach.

The event concluded with a Vote of Thanks delivered by Prof. Nitya Pratap, who expressed gratitude to all dignitaries, faculty members, students, and parents for their presence and participation in making the event successful.

The Induction Day proved to be an informative and welcoming experience, setting a positive tone for the academic year ahead and fostering a sense of belonging among the new batch of students and their parents.
