The Tour Photography Competition was officially announced on 14th January, 2025, at Pillias College of Architecture by social media Team and Photography Club, providing an exciting opportunity for students from the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 5th years to showcase their photography skills. The competition was based on two themes: Light and Shadow and Architectural Silhouettes. To ensure students captured relevant images, the announcement was made before their study tour, allowing them to take photographs aligned with the competition themes during their trip.
Competition Details
Participants were required to submit their photographs taken during the college’s recent study tour. The entire competition process, from submission to judging, was conducted online via Instagram. Initially, a Google form was circulated among students for entries. The submissions were then judged by Mr. Siddesh Sawant, a well-known professional commercial photographer.
Results and Winners
The results of the competition were announced on 28th January, 2025, via Instagram. The winners in different categories were as follows:

Viewers’ Choice Award
- Winner: Mrunmayee S.
Prizes and Recognition
The winners and the recipient of the Viewers’ Choice Award were awarded a cash prize of Rs. 1000 each, while the 1st runners-up received a cash prize of Rs. 500 each. Additionally, the winners’ photographs were displayed during the 1st Year Tour Exhibition and also announced on Instagram by posting their entries.

This competition provided students with an excellent platform to demonstrate their photography talent while capturing the essence of their study tour. The online format ensured broad accessibility and engagement, making the event a great success.
