As a part of the Beautification drive at Panvel Railway Station, students of Pillai College of Architecture, New Panvel co-ordinated resources who paint the walls of Panvel Railway Station in December 2020. As this initiative was undertaken during the Pandemic, the artwork was dedicated to the frontline corona warriors. Railway stations play an important role in the daily commute of Mumbai and Navi Mumbai residence but are very often the most neglected part of the city infrastructure. The students hence took the pandemic related low traffic period to beautify the station. This initiative has given a vibrant and rejuvenated look to the other wise dull premises.
