The book is a unique compilation that showcases significant structures from 1947-2022, unravelling independent India’s architectural evolution. An invaluable resource for students, teachers of architecture, and general readers, the book succinctly illustrates the stories behind each building to create a narrative of post-independence Indian architecture.
The book was launched on 5th February 2024, at the hands of PiCA Principal Dr. Sudnya Mahimkar, PiCA Principal and Dr. Celina Joy, Professor, PIMSR. The book was also launched at Pillai HOC College of Architecture on 28th February 2024; and at Sir JJ College of Architecture on 20th March 2024.
