AimTo raise awareness of the problems faced due to increasing pollution and introduce ways to prevent and mitigate these issues.

The International Day for “Clean Air for Blue Skies” campaign, organized by the Anubhuti team of Pillai College of Architecture in collaboration with Bharat Vikas Parishad, was indeed a praiseworthy social service event. It took place at R.Z.P. School in Asudgaon on 15th September, 2023, and witnessed active participation from 50 school students, along with the dedicated involvement of 15 volunteers and 2 faculty members from Pillai College of Architecture.

This initiative stands as a shining testament to the Anubhuti team’s unwavering commitment to promoting environmental awareness and fostering meaningful community engagement. The engagement of college students in such events serves as a pivotal force in creating a positive impact and inspiring the younger generation to become conscientious stewards of our environment.

At the heart of this event was a poster-making competition for students in the 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th grades. To facilitate their creativity, all necessary materials, such as colors, pencils, erasers, sharpeners, and paper, were generously provided by PiCA.

In addition to the poster competition, students from Pillai College of Architecture conducted a concise yet enlightening presentation. The objective of this presentation was to educate the young participants about the importance of clean air, the consequences of pollution, and practical measures to enhance air quality.
To acknowledge and celebrate the dedicated efforts and creative talents of the participants, certificates were distributed to all students who took part. Furthermore, prizes were awarded to the winners of the poster-making competition, further fueling their enthusiasm for environmental awareness. These prizes were kindly sponsored by Bharat Vikas Parishad, and the award ceremony was graced by the presence of Mr. Shankar Apate and Mrs. Padmaja Kulkerni from BVP.

This event, beyond being a platform for creative and educational engagement, served as a catalyst for instilling a profound sense of responsibility toward the environment. It contributed significantly to the vision of a brighter, cleaner future for everyone, where awareness and action work hand in hand to create positive change.
