To celebrate the festival of Ganesh Chaturthi, the student council of Pillai College of Architecture had organised a clay workshop where the participants were given the opportunity to make clay murtis of Ganpati. The event began at around 2:00 p.m. and was held in the ground floor studio. The entire workshop was conducted under the guidance of Prof. Jayesh Patil and Prof. Kedar Shinde. The session hence also began with a brief demonstration on the basic steps and techniques by Prof. Jayesh Patil for making the murti. Several students from all the batches ranging from 2nd to 5th years had participated in the event. Various other faculty members along with the principal, Dr. Sudnya Mahimkar had also participated in this fun-filled workshop. The workshop finally ended at 5:30 p.m. with the display of the models made by all of the participants.
The event was attended by almost 45 students from all the years along with different faculty members along with the Principal.
