Mahatma Education Society’s Pillai’s College of Architecture, New Panvel celebrated Eco-Bappa, a Ganesh idol making workshop for the first time, on occasion of Ganesh Chaturti on 7th September, 2021. It was both an online and offline idol making workshop held under the guidance of Prof. Jayesh Patil. Main motive behind this was to get the students hands on making an ecofriendly Ganesh idol with sustainable materials.
The event began at 12:30 p.m. with Prof. Jayesh Patil guiding the students both in offline and online mode with the steps of making an idol starting right from making the clay to decorating the idol. Students participated enthusiastically and made beautiful little Ganesh idols which were ecofriendly.
The event was attended by the students of all years. It was offline as well as online streamed on Zoom meeting.
