The event held at Vaishnavi college of architecture in Hyderabad was highly significant as it focused on reimagining Hussain Sagar Lake in the city. The competition aimed to explore innovative ideas for the lake’s revitalization, making it an important gathering for architectural and creative minds. various colleges all across India participated in the competition.
On August 18th, 2023, the event took place at Vaishnavi college of architecture in Hyderabad, starting from 10:30 a.m. and concluding at 7:30 p.m. This was a second round of the competition, the shortlisted entries from the first round participated in this event.
The event drew a total of 33 attendees from 7 different colleges. The occasion commenced with a warm welcome to the jurors. The participating colleges presented their designs and explanations to the jurors, who evaluated the projects. The judges were renowned Architect & Urban Designer K T Ravindran , COA Director Jayasree Deshpande and Yeshwant Ramamurthy, principal architect of Studio One Architects.
At the event’s conclusion, the winners were announced and the entry from Pillai College of Architecture secured the first position.
