Inclusive Social Awareness
Many institutions work towards improvement of the relatively unprivileged sections of the society. But does anyone think of women as part of society. Nowadays we see a lot of facilities showing equality and covering all other issues coming up for women from the society and the government. But we still see things coming up every alternate day about women’s safety etc. people should respect women not only on women’s day but also every day. Every person should get a place in society where they should receive importance, respect and dignity equally. And in a person women are and should be included. Hence this day and everyday.
How is the day celebrated?
This was one of the first events which was conducted in the college with all the guidelines followed. This year the day was celebrated with all the women faculty and housekeeping people present in the college on the day of women’s day.
The day was celebrated with distributing chocolates and masks to the housekeeping people.
Distributing masks also promotes awareness during this period of pandemic and the distributing the chocolates also brings in a symbol and sense of happiness and celebration.
Highlights
The highlights of the events are:
- Respecting women And celebrating Women’s day with the college staff.
