The students of Mahatma Education Society’s Pillai’s College of Architecture, New Panvel celebrated LENS-The Photography Competition on the theme Architectural Abstract showcasing, Scale, Perspective and Exposure. We are surrounded by architectural elements and detailing from each and every corner, so the competition focused on the photography skills and observing the architectural essence in our daily life.
So, it was an open competition for faculties as well as students. The competition was conducted house wise. Per entry was dedicated with 5 points on the extra covering, we added a list of brownie points
Where in the first winner gets 25 points, second gets 20 points and third get 15 points
The event began with a welcome of the students and faculties on an Online Platform-Zoom. In addition, the hosts, Mudra Dhuri displayed the different creative entries by the students with the support of their video recording. The submissions received by students were fascinating and innovative. Then, there was a showcase of 13 shortlisted entries by the panels and from the 13 entries, 3 entries were selected as winners with the help of vote poll on Instagram.
The session concluded with a vote of thanks.
We received in total 85 entries. Here are few shortlisted entries from each house and the points earned by each house at the end also the winning house.
