Pillai College of Architecture had celebrated ‘Marathi Bhasha Din’ on the occasion of the birth anniversary of noted Marathi litterateur V. V. Shirwadkar, popularly known as ‘Kusumagraj’ on Wednesday, 27th February, 2019 at 3.00pm.
Prof. Shubhangi Bhide welcomed all the dignitaries, faculty members and students. Prof. Bhide stated that the Government started celebrating the birth anniversary of Kusumagraj as ‘Marathi Rajbhasha Gaurav Din’ after the Jnanpeeth awardee’s demise in 1999.
Principal of Pillai College of Architecture, Dr. Sudnya Mahimkar expressed her views about Kusumagraj and shared her experiences with all the students and faculty members.
Program was concluded by the vote of thanks given by Prof. Tejashree Lakras to everyone.
