Pillai College of Architecture, New panvel. With all joy celebrated Marathi Bhasha divas on 27th February, 2023. The event commenced in the 7th floor auditorium from 3:00pm onwards and invited all the faculties and students, from first to fifth year participating in the event. Everyone was dressed in vibrant, traditional Maharashtrian outfits and the event was organized in Marathi.
The event was started with Dipprajwalam by Dr. Sudnya Mahimkar, Prof. Shibhangi Bhide, Prof. Sarojini Prof. Sasmit Acharekar, moving forward with the programme. Dance Performances , Ramp walk etc.
Many performances took place, all of which won the audiences’ hearts. There were dance performances along with music to honor the artists of Marathi literature. They also witnessed a character representation where students dressed as one or the other great personality who had contributed to the society to recollect their efforts. There were also acts from the famous Natrang play and a beautiful performance by none other than one of the faculty members, Ms. Moushumi Mam. The day filled the students with a new found respect and affection towards Marathi language and smiling faces.
