On the occasion of National Voter’s Day, Anubhuti, the social service wing of Pillai College of Architecture in collaboration with Electoral Literacy Club of PiCA organised an oath taking program for the 1st and 2nd year student of B.Arch. The session began at 10 a.m. on the 25th January, 2024 and was conducted successfully in the second floor B.Arch. studio in the college campus.
The idea of the oath taking program was to inculcate and provoke the thoughts of contributing to the well being and growth of our country in all aspects and developing our intentions to carry forward the same motive through our actions. The program was successful in creating an initiative and promise among the younger generation to uphold their democratic responsibilities and encouraging active participation among the youth in shaping the future of our nation. Furthermore, the oath-taking event served as a reminder of the collective responsibility of each and every individual to safeguard the integrity of elections and combat electoral malpractices.
In conclusion, the oath-taking event conducted on National Voters Day served as a poignant reminder of the privileges and responsibilities inherent in democratic citizenship.
