The lecture was arranged so as to connect students to the subject via their day to day activities. Kitchen being a part of every home, Organic Kitchen Gardening was helpful to engage students into the subject. The guest session by Mr. Harshad Ainapure was arranged along with the workshop on organic kitchen gardening where the plantations were done by students, taken home and nurtured. Students did understand the idea of utility landscapes for all. The speaker has talked about his journey in the field, the today and tomorrow of Organic Kitchen Gardening. The workshop stated importance of appropriate arrangements of varied species to as well get a compact version of this garden.
The Workshop was attended by many students where the college had arranged the raw material for all. In most of the cases, the plants were grown well and students have started using those for their day to day cooking.
