The Poster Making Competition organized by Pillai College of Architecture was held on the 12th August, 2024. This event was an integral part of our anti-ragging initiative, aimed at fostering awareness and promoting a culture of respect and safety within the college.

Objectives

  1. Raise Awareness: To Educate And Inform Students About The Serious Issue Of Ragging And Its Impacts.
  2. Encourage Creativity: To Provide A Platform For Students To Express Their Thoughts And Ideas Through Visual Art.
  3. Promote Positive Behavior: To Support the College’s Efforts in Creating a Safer and More Inclusive Campus Environment.

Event Proceedings

  1. Introduction And Briefing: The Event Commenced With An Introduction By The Senate In-Charge, Prof. Jayesh Patil, And Prof. Ashwini Bhosale. They Provided An Overview Of The Anti-Ragging Message And The Importance Of The Competition.
  2. Poster Creation: Participants Were Given Time To Create Their Posters. Emphasis Was Placed On The Themes Of Anti-Ragging, Respect, And Campus Safety.
  3. Submission and Evaluation: Posters Were Collected And Evaluated Based On Creativity, Relevance To The Theme, And Overall Impact.
  4. Judging Panel: The Judging Panel Comprised Faculty Members. The Judges Carefully Reviewed Each Poster And Selected Winners Based On The Criteria Provided.

Results and Recognition

  • Best Poster Award: 1st.Prem Dhamal ,2nd Rudrani Gondhali, 3rd Radhika
  • Certificates Of Participation: All Participants Received Certificates Acknowledging Their Efforts And Contributions.

Conclusion
The Poster Making Competition was a successful event that not only highlighted the issue of ragging but also engaged students in a meaningful way. The creativity and thoughtfulness of the participants were commendable, and the event significantly contributed to raising awareness about creating a safe and respectful academic environment.
