As part of her Saint Gobain Scholarship Research project “Kalyan-smrutiGandh”, Prof. Tejashree Lakras successfully came up with two interesting outcomes which generated heritage awareness amongst locals of Kalyan. The first outcome being an exhibition of sheets expressing the historical styles existed in Kalyan and second one was a short film featuring all the remaining architectural heritage properties that evoke the essences of history of Kalyan briefly.
The film was released at Mindscape festival at CIDCO urban Haat Belapur on 19th January, 2020 alongwith the exhibition display for three days. And further it was screened at different platforms including Kalyan Sarvajanik Vachanalya, Rizvi college of Architecture bandra, Kamla Raheja Vidyanidhi institute of Architecture Juhu with an intention of spreading heritage awareness and reach out to maximum amount of people from different disciplines.
