Significance of the event:

On the occasion of Rakshabandhan, PiCA Anubhuti organized a special event titled “Rakhi with Khaki” to honor the bravery and dedication of firefighters. The event was graced by the Chief Fire Officer and his team, who were warmly welcomed by the faculty and students.

The program began with an insightful lecture by the Shri. Parvin Bodkhe, Chief Fire Officer who spoke on:

  • Fire Safety Protocols and preventive measures.
  • Fire Compliance Requirements for public and private buildings.
  • Architectural Bye-laws related to fire safety in design and construction.

The session proved highly informative, helping students understand the intersection of architectural design and fire safety compliance. It concluded with an interactive Q&A, where the Chief Fire Officer addressed student queries.

Following the lecture, the students of PiCA expressed their gratitude and respect by tying rakhis to the firefighters. Along with the rakhis, a token of love was presented to them in appreciation of their selfless service to society.

The Rakhi with Khaki celebration successfully combined a meaningful educational session with a heartfelt gesture of honor, leaving a lasting impression on all present.
