The Archilogics Webinar Series initiative by PiCA Panvel conducted its latest session on “Research and Design Methodology for Thesis” for Semester 7 and Semester 9 students on 16th August, 2020 Sunday. The session was organised with an intention of giving students the right direction in their respective research and design process of thesis. The session began with the interactive activity with the participants to know their ideas on “What is Thesis?” and “Why Do Thesis?”. Taking a glance of students’ perspectives on these very important pointers, the Speaker addressed the different issues that students usually face right from the identification of interest areas till the generation of outcome in the end. Through his personal experiences, the speaker made a point that it is the exposure in the internship period that brings maturity and creativity in the project. Another important highlight of the session was to make students understand about designing the depth of thesis for personal growth, progress and not merely for academic excellence. The journey shared by the speaker proved quite motivational and inspirational for all the students as it stressed essentially the process and research based approach towards design in the thesis. The session ended with the short thanksgiving speech by the moderator.
