Anubhuti, the social service wing of Pillai College of Architecture along with Pillai College of Engineering & Pillai Institute of Management Studies & Research organized a Workshop for “Organ Donation Awareness Program” on 23rd February, 2023. The event was exclusively for the students of PiCA, PCE and PiMSR. The event began with Professor Ar. Nitya Pratap welcomed and introduced the guests, Dr. Nilam Gada, Dr. Anjali Sabnis and Dr. Prakash Mane and Mr. Rushbh Maroo from Kutch Yuvak Sangh NGO, followed by inviting guests along with dignitaries from Pillai Group of institutions to the stage for the lighting of the lamp. Later the guest speakers were introduced and felicitated by the Dignitaries, Dr. Sudnya Mahimkar, (Principal of PiCA), Dr. Celina Joy (Faculty at PiMSR), Prof. Shubhangi Bhide, and Prof. Geeta Thakkar (faculties of PiCA). Post that the guest speaker, Dr. Nilam Gada began with her interactive and audio-visual talk. Her talk concluded with a question and answer session. The next guest speaker Dr. Anjali Sabnis ma’am shared her experience and knowledge on “Body Donation” which also ended with a q/a session. In the end, a vote of thanks was expressed by Ar. Geeta Thakkar followed by a group picture captured with the dignitaries and the Guest speakers along with the faculties of PiCA. The program was attended by 150 students along with 13 faculties from the institute.
