Pillai College of Architecture, New Panvel was a witness to the splendid event celebrating the beautiful relationship between friends on 8th August 2024.
On account of friendship day, a costume event was organized at the Fourth floor studio of the campus. The walls were covered in luster papers and balloons just like a birthday party to celebrate the birth of beautiful friendship bonds. Students of all the batches from 2nd to 5th year came forward in various avatars; each marking a friendship bond they adored. A black space was highlighted on the panel board where students can craft their feelings and emotions into words and write sweet messages for their friends. The event opened with a beautiful welcome by the Event secretary Miss Shrutika Patil followed by a highly applauded act of minions by 2ndyear students. The stage was set and the students presented their skills from dance to small acts and ramp walks. The college faculty too graced the event with their presence along with Principal Dr. Sudnya Mahimkar. The celebration set a benchmark for the friendship bonds that this college; as well as the course imbibes along with the talents that students showcased.
The event was attended by almost 120 students from all the years and faculty members along with the Principal.
