The Dance and Music Club of PICA organized a vibrant Salsa & Jazz dance Workshop on 4th December 2025, led by renowned choreographer and dancer Saloni Mokashi, winner of the Raigadchi Lavani Samragni Competition and a recurring performer at the IIFA awards. A total of 29 students attended the workshop. It was held from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM, in the Ground floor studio and drew enthusiastic participation from students across diverse disciplines, reflecting the institute’s commitment to nurturing creativity, expression, and physical well-being.

Participants were introduced to an engaging choreography that beautifully blended the elegance of Jazz with the rhythm of Salsa. Saloni Mokashi’s dynamic teaching style quickly energized the room, getting both students and faculty members grooving to a lively Bollywood track. The session struck the perfect balance between fun and learning—students explored intricate dance techniques while also being encouraged to express themselves freely through movement.

The overwhelming turnout and excitement showcased the students’ eagerness to expand their artistic abilities. The workshop not only enhanced their dance skills but also offered a refreshing break from routine academics, allowing them to immerse themselves in a joyful, creative, and physically invigorating experience. The workshop was efficiently coordinated by the students of the Pica Dance & Music club with the ever helpful Pica students council members, ensuring a successful workshop.
