A site visit to Pisarve Village, strategically located near Taloja in Navi Mumbai was organized with specific aims. Surrounded by Taloja MIDC, Panvel, Kalyan and Kharghar, the village’s advantageous position offers an excellent opportunity for enhancing connectivity through transportation systems. The objectives of this visit include a comprehensive assessment of existing transportation infrastructure, evaluation of urban development potential, and exploration of connectivity improvement opportunities. Active engagement with residents and stakeholders was crucial to gather their input and insights.
Objectives of Site Visit:
- Evaluate and understand the existing transportation infrastructure, including roadways, railways, and public transit systems.
- Assess the potential for urban development, considering land use, zoning regulations, and environmental considerations of surrounding areas.
- Explore opportunities to improve connections with nearby areas like Panvel, Kalyan, Mumbai and Navi Mumbai.
- Actively engage with residents and relevant stakeholders to obtain their input and understand their perspectives.
