Biography of the Resource Faculty | Anushka Shadadpuri Anushka has graduated from Pillai College of Architecture. She is the founder of Aamchi, a mentoring, design and research platform centred around embedding culture and critical thinking within the architectural discourse. After her graduation, she joined the School of Environment and Architecture as a Research Assistant and developed an existing study on Housing questions in second cities across India. She was recently invited as a panel list to present her paper titled ‘Conferences and the Gender Question’ at the Gender and Academic Leadership in Architecture in India Symposium, 2020. Anushka is currently a Research Associate at Social Design Collaborative, Delhi, where she is working on devising an urban game for inclusive urban development and participatory planning for Delhi’s Master plan 2041 as a part of the Main Bhi Dilli Campaign. Siddhesh Bhandari Siddhesh has graduated from Pillai's College of Architecture in 2019. After his graduation, he started working with Daisaria Associates as an assistant project architect. Recently one of his projects while working at DA got awarded as the Best Architectural Design in Villa category by FOIAD India. (2020) He has been part of the "S4 Kit" scheme which is a conceptual proposal for rural public toilets in India which is shortlisted under Top 50 by volume zero. (2020) Currently he is working on the "Streets for People'' which is an initiative of the smart cities mission. It is an urban design proposal that focuses on making the streets better for the people in terms of walkability and a place for social interaction during the times of pandemic. It is awarded by the Ministry of Housing and Home Affairs and is soon going to be implemented. (2021) |
Course Description: Thinking through drawing: curating methods and ideas for architectural drawing.
Course Objectives: Using Adobe Photoshop as a tool, the workshop aims to develop a critical approach to the architecture drawing, concepts and ideas, experimenting with different mediums and styles of rendering.
Course Outcome: Understanding the basics of digital rendering.
